Championship side Middlesbrough have signed West Ham keeper Darren Randolph. The Irish International has signed with the Teesside club for a fee of 4.5 Million pounds. The 30-year-old made 42 appearances for the Hammers in the space of 2 full seasons. He originally joined the Hammers on a free transfer from Birmingham City after his contract expired at St. Andrews. On the move Randolph said: “Firstly I just want to say #thankyou to all the #WestHam fans for their support over the last couple of seasons.
“I had some great times and experiences at the club but sadly decisions were made that meant I had to cut short my time there to look after myself and my career. I want to wish all the lads all the best for the upcoming season, it has been a pleasure!
Looking ahead, it’s a really exciting challenge here at #Middlesbrough and I can’t wait to get started! #UTB #Boro“
